This section is for you to show off your kayak, talk about your kayak, and ask questions about various kayaks that are on the market. Learn from and provide information for others the use. Enjoy!

I realize that this is the Coastal Georgia KAYAK Forums, but there are virtually zero differences in how the deal is done that I think you need to add a Canoe forum. Most of the best sites for kayak fishing also include canoe enthusiasts overtly. We're a minority on all of the sites, but actually still the majority in the paddle sports at large. Thus, canoeists are your primary recruiting demographic for new kayak anglers.

I know that we always say "kayak" out of habit, but any form of paddle craft are included and welcome! Heck the Commander and Ultimate Natives are really just a mini canoe.

Agreed, and acknowledged as intuitively obvious to you and me. But it is not obvious to search engines or people using them.

Is anyone familiar with the "stand n fish" system? Have one? seen one? looks pretty sweet, but a bit pricey at $650 for the leaning post and pontoon system. You can see it at standnfish.com I am a big guy, so standing in my kayak is not an option, but I think with this system it is very doable.

jerseyjoe, I haven't seen one yet, but I am a big guy myself and if you are like me, it would be more stand and dive than stand and fish!!! Redbeard

JJ, I know that Capt. Linda Cavitt (Panama City Kayak Fishing) has a Stand N' Fish on one of her kayaks and it's actually for sell (kayak included). I haven't heard of anyone else having one.
