Based on my searches it appears this is the only kayak forum without a thread devoted to kayak carts. I thought about making one, actually had the wheels and pvc joints in my buggy at Ace hardware recently, and put them back when I realized I was already over $40. Not having a kayak cart is what's holding me back from paddling more. Did you buy one or make one, assuming you have one? What kind, and would you recommend it to a friend? I'm seeing pros and cons for the paddle boy scupper pup but, other than the price, that looks like just what I need.

Hmmm. Would you be opposed to me trying that on to see how it fits some time?

I have no problem letting you use it for a "try out". You know where I live, call me. I'm off all week and should be around the house during morning hours.

Even if you spend $100 on one, you'll consider it $100 well-spent. Just don't "install" wheels on your yak. Get the true cart kind.
