I use 15lb. power pro braid with a 20lb flourocarbon leader for the majority of my inshore saltwater fishing applications. The braid matches well with my rod length and action and gives me the feel that is comfortable for me. I can almost feel a fish looking at my lure! ;D
What do you use? What species? and why?

I use 30lbs power power pro with 20lbs flourocarbon leader on my inshore rigs. The only reason I went with the heavier braid is because of the diameter of the line. Braid is so thin that it makes it easier for me to handle. For freshwater its 6lbs mono for smallies(pline), 1/0 worm hook and a sinko because they kill'm...

Depending on reel size I use either power pro 10# or 15# with 20# fluorocarbon leader. this is what smitty and 3 spots taught me.

Inshore I use 12# mono with 20# fluoro leader. Surf fishing, I use 25# mono with 40# fluoro leader (or approximate...). Freshwater, I just use my inshore stuff. Don't fish freshwater enough to rig up for it.
