The advanced kayak fishing seminar for April 16th at Coffee Bluff Marina is already booked up. We can only take out 3 clients during these mothership seminars/ trips. The next one is a flooded grass fishing seminar/ trip in October. How many of you would be interested if Coffee Bluff Marina/ Coastal Georgia Kayak Fishing added an additional advanced kayak fishing seminar/ trip? These seminars/ trips are $100 per person.

There will be another advanced seminar ($100 per angler) scheduled at Coffee Bluff Marina Oct. 1st.
If we get enough interest we may even add another one before then.
We have 3 intermediate seminars coming up this year ($35 per angler).

It has been requested for attendees to pack light. One rod will be sufficient (20lb. leader at least), Gulp products (white or light colored), jigheads, DOA's, popping cork (if you choose), small cooler with a couple drinks, grippers, other various tackle. Packing light will enable us to unload and load on the motherships faster and easier. Bring some bug juice and sunscreen just in case. See you all Saturday morning.

We should really keep an eye on the weather..... It's not looking so hot.

Keep in mind that the weather is as unpredictable as the weather guessers. Attendees are still meeting at Coffee Bluff Marina at the scheduled time. A recon will be conducted as well as current weather data at that time and a decision will be made then based on the situation.
Thanks

The advanced seminar has been pushed back a day due to the weather conditions. Will see all the attendees tomorrow! Should be a great day for the seminar instruction and fishing!

The advanced seminar today was great if you don't like catching fish. The weather and the tide was perfect, but the fish had lock jaw. Oh well. I had a great time none the less. All the participants got plenty of lure chunking in and believe me, we tried everything we had in the tackle box. Troutman managed to land a stingray on a Gulp! We saw tons of reds today, I mean tons. The sizes ranged anywhere from rat reds to big 35" mooses. Wish they would have been hungry. Just about the only thing we saw that was probably hungry was several alligators. Thanks to all that participated and Thanks to Coffee Bluff Marina and Jerry for the motherships! That was an adventure/ fun in it self. The ride out: A kayak re-entry volunteer: Troutman doing his thing: Big gator:

I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thanks to Wayne for the in-water instruction. I didn't know a Pathfinder could operate in 6 inches of water. Glad I was not in the front. Big Gators; not worried about them being hungry but I was concerned they may have been Springtime frisky, if you know what I mean.
Thanks to all!

Thanks to all for coming out and playing in our backyard Sunday. Trey and Kevin did a great job leading Clyde, Cal, Wayne, Buddy, and Dan through the flats. After the dropoff, we saw some fish moving, too, but had to get back to the marina and help Amy. Coming back to pick everyone up, "The Crack" was pretty shallow with an hour of tide still to fall...I told Jerry he could go first and to hold up a paddle if he got stuck so we wouldn't pile up on him. I swear that creek looked like it was perfectly fitted for a Pathfinder....must have been because Jerry blasted through first and molded it out for us!! Thanks again to everyone and best of luck flats fishing in the future!!
