The intermediate kayak fishing seminar March 26th already has some folks signed up. This seminar will cover 1) knowing your prey (trout, redfish, flounder), 2) knowing you prey's habitat, 3) understanding the proper presentation of your bait according to location and conditions. We'll go over rod & reels, line, terminal tackle, artificial baits, live baits, popping corks, some useful fishing knots, paddling strokes, and kayak re-entry from the water. Bring your own kayak or if you don't have a kayak, you can rent one from Coffee Bluff Marina. They have a few for rent, but schedule your slot early to ensure that they'll have one available. There are additional details for the rentals and other details at coffeebluffmarina.net/index.php?page=newshappeningsHope to see you there!!

I hope he seminar goes well and everyone learns some useful tips and techniques. I had planned on coming down to the marina about the time the seminar was wrapping up in hopes of meeting some of the folks that I haven[t had the pleasure to meet yet........ unfortunately one of our boilers at work decided to blow a tube and we are now working 12 hrs at least thru tomorrow and more than likely Sunday also. If theirs a bright side to it, at least it will help me pay the medical bills from Camerons episode this week! Ya'll have fun and hopefully I'll get to meet some of ya at the April 9th fishing trip / club meeting.
