Several new kayaks and mods were revealed in Orlando, Fl. at iCast this week. Hobie has come out with a new variation to their Mirage drive that flips the fins in the opposite direction to enable the kayaker to go in reverse. The drive will be available in 2017 Mirage model kayaks. Old Towne upgraded it's Predator kayak with a pedal drive, similar to the Native propeller pedal system. Wilderness and Feelfree came out with pedal drives for their kayaks too. The Feelfree drive system can be purchased as a pedal drive only or also have the electric drive motor included. It would be worth visiting the above kayak manufacturer websites to check out their new products closer. The iCast website should also have some videos. There are numerous videos on social media sites that include walkthroughs of these new innovations.

I've been following this on the Lure Owner's Group FB page. It's great to see so much innovation in the industry right now. I'm interested in the peddle drive system for sure.
