Fly Tying Group

I would like to make another go at a fly tying group. It would be nice to go to a local bar/tavern/restaurant but not sure the logistics of that. I don't really want to shell out $20-$30 for food and beers, and I'm sure they wouldn't want me sitting there most of the evening not spending money.

I could host, but I might be a bit out of the way for some folks. I live in Glennville, it's the far west end of Ft. Stewart off Hwy 144. I know we are a bit spread out to begin with. So maybe we could rotate who hosts if people don't like hauling all the way out to Glennville.

What does everyone think?

Depends on the day for me. Weekdays are out for me and the rare pass I get on the weekends I prefer to fish. I could host one occasionally at my house in Statesboro.

Unfortunately with me living in Statesboro it's a half day affair for me to do something like this if you include travel time. If I'm going to spend my day pass I'd rather be on the water. The rare day pass is valuable currency if you have kids!
