Just wanted to show you all this link with fly casting instructional videos. After my trip to Newfoundland I realized that I needed some work on my fly casting after not fishing for so long. These videos helped me immensely. I think the choice of instructors is genius too. Not only is she a world champion fly caster (not in a women's division either; a true world champion), but she's a 70 year old lady to illustrate that power has no place in a fly cast. I try to overpower my cast too often since I'm so used to spinning and casting tackle. www.winstonrods.com/category/winston-channel/instructional-videos.php

Glad to see the flyrod is garnering a number of takers which is great. Has been a few years since we had a casting clinic and I would be happy to put one on again for CGKF participants, if there is enough interest. We are here until April 1st and we can hold it on Tybee at one of the parks, on the beach by our condo or both. All depends on participant's experience level and freshwater/saltwater preferences.
Once we know who would be interested we can find a date.

I've made the decision to make 2016 fly only. The fly rod was good to me last year, I took it out 24 times and wasn't skunked once. I'd love to get some instruction. I can only do Wednesday through Friday though.
