Robbie Linton Memorial Tournament

Although the turn out wasn't what I had expected, we had a great time none the less! The fish more than cooperated with 12 trout and 8 reds coming to the house to be fried up. Friends and neighbors joined in on the cookout: we had fried (fresh) trout and redfish, butter and cheese grits, hush puppies, red rice, chocolate chip cookies (that my daughter made) and then roasted marsh mellows when it got dark.

It was really a fantastic day to be out on the water. The weather cooperated as well as did the fishing. Sorry there was not a better participation in this event but a fun time was had by all that was there. the fish fry after wards was great. One could not ask for anything finer than fish swimming that morning was on the table that night.

Not nearly enough. Hopefully participation will increase in future events.

Fantastic!!! I was there, if not in body, in mind! All morning, I kept thinking about where I would be fishing if I was there. I am glad it was a good day. We will just have to work on getting the attendance up. Nubby, you make me wish even more that I had been there with that photo of the plate full of fish and grits!!! Glad it worked out.

i to thought about how it was going. next year i can take part in it. as of Friday the 19th. i will be a member of the plastic navy. i am picking up the kayak from ray and amy on that day.
