Picked up one of those free Saltwater Angler magazines on Friday on my way out the door at Bass Pro Shops. I bought so much crap my 3 year old son had to carry the magazine for me out to the car. Anyway, in the back there are Harbor Freight coupons. One is for $150 off the boat trailer they sell, bringing it down to $349. On the website it is now listed on sale $399, so it still gets you $50 off. I think I am going to pick it up this weekend and use to haul my future kayak(s). It's 600lb capacity, perfect for a few yaks IMO.
Just wanted to make sure you guys were aware of it in case any of you were looking for a trailer like me.

yeah i looked at them after my wreck. but since i got me a smaller kayak. i dont need a trailer. i can put it into the bed of the truck. also please check with your insurance. just dont um assume you are covered. when you hook a boat trailer to your car or truck. if you put it in the bed of you truck you are covered, but not if its on a trailer. please check with your insurance. hate to see you out of a trailer or kayak like i was.

I've had a few boats in the past and I always carry insurance on them. I was never too worried about losing a boat in the water, but I was very worried about somebody wrecking it on the road for me. Luckily, I haven't had to use it, but I'm going to be prepared.

You can even buy the cheaper flatbed style trailer and modify it for exactly what you want. You can do a lot with those things. Really liked my trailer.

Build your own. I found an old jon boat trailer and rebuilt it with a heavier axle, tires, hitch, jack and kayak rigging for less than $300.

I could never find cheap trailers online, people always wanted $500 or more. And they needed a ton of work. I got the smallest harbor freight trailer and modified to work for yaks. Built a stake rack style box with bunks for 2 yaks. And bought a piece of steel for $30 to extend the tongue to 10'.
