This year CGKF will be hosting kayak fishing seminars in Savannah and in the Brunswick area. If you're just getting into the sport or need some tips and tricks that you may not have known, these seminars will be beneficial to you. Invite folks that don't kayak fish yet, it's a good introduction into the sport and will provide some good fishing tips. Your instructors will be myself and/ or Sharkattack ( Keith Motola ).

The March 7th seminar at SouthEast Adventures (Brunswick) will start at 10:30am instead of 10:00am.

looking for more info on May 8 seminar, hotels, seminar times etc brian good The seminar will start at 8:30 am with general seminar information on kayak fishing, approximately 1 1/2 hours later we will depart onto the water for general kayak paddling instruction ( if needed ) and I'll point out some key features to look for when looking for that right spot. We will probably finish off with a fish at large and meet back at the launch around 2 or 3 pm. All is weather dependent. Bring your own gear or coordinate with SouthEast Adventures to rent. Still not sure if we will charge for the seminar, if we do it won't be more than $20 each. Hotels are on your own. There are several hotels in Brunswick off the Interstate that are decent, not sure of the pricing. Google Brunswick or St. Simons. Where are you coming from?

First, Thank you for doing what you do as far as sharing your knowledge and most of all your time. I live in Nashville TN. This is my first rodeo with a kayak. I recently purchased the slayer propel 13,which I am presently outfitting. .Looking forward to growing with this kayaking thing. Very familiar with salt water fishing...just wanted to add the peace of fishing quietly :-)

I will be attending the May 9th seminar and fish event, however I am coming down a few days prior so if any advanced people want to: TAKE A GREEN HORN KAYAK-ER WITH A TRUE PASSION FOR INSHORE FISHING, MAY I TAG ALONG IF YOU GET OUT ON THE WATER FRIDAY MAY 8TH.

I'll head down to Brunswick for the May 9th seminar also. Too bad the Coffee Bluff turmoil has thrown a wrench in those seminars (practically next door to me), but I can't complain about the hands-on opportunity in Brunswick. I look forward to learning from the best and maybe hooking into my first red.
