OK new to the board and new to Yak fishing, as in never been on one yet. Looking for a decent used kayak to learn on and get some fishing in.

I'm in Pooler, looking to keep first rig at about $500 to $750. Once I know more of what I'm doing will upgrade and use first one to hook a friend of mine.

Take a look at Bass Pro and the Ascend Kayaks. They are a good entry level kayak, and right in your price range.

For that amount you can find a really decent used kayak, check craigslist in Jax, and here...

Where do you plan on using it. I have a Native Ultimate 12 in excellent condition I'm thinking about selling. It's a great boat, super stable. Not suited for offshore use, though.
