Im looking for a fly tying bench/table/box....I was given a ton of tying material, hooks, vice, and all kinds of stuff in a old box by my boss. Im looking for the tying bench to store all of this stuff and also learn to start tying.

Kevin I've got an old desk that one of the boys had in their room (Backlash). It works pretty good for us. Get you one of those little organizers from Home Depot/Lowes that you put screws and bolts in to keep the hooks, eyes, and assorted stuff in. I'll try to find the pic and post it up tonight.

That set-up will probably give some of the "purist" a heart attack... but hey it works for us and we already had it. Now if I could just figure out how to keep the winds from blowing 20 knots everytime I put the flyrods in the boat!

If I could just find time to use my fly rods, much less time to learn how to tie!!!! I am just getting into fly fishing, managed to convince Mrs. Santa that I needed a couple of new outfits last Christmas and haven't had a chance to catch a fish on either of them yet!!! Great looking set-up! Maybe one of these days------------ Redbeard

Ricky, you sound like us with the fly rods. Last March me and Dylan hit one of the big muflats out in Ossabaw Sound to give the reds a try with the fly rods. It was perfect conditions for it, barely a breeze for an hour and just as the incoming tide started to get right, the wind went from maybe 2 knots to 20 knots within about 2-3 minutes.

Funny Mark, same thing happened to me on Friday, so I put the fly rod up and got to the spinning reels!

At the risk of butting in and/or coming on to strong as "the new guy," sounds to me like I can be of some help when I get there. A 23mph wind doesn't have to keep you from fly fishing. As a matter of fact, it can help you cast to sighted fish if you just know how. I can teach y'all how to do that if you want to learn.
However, I will say (and you probably know) Redfish hate wind. It tends to drive them off the flats and into deeper water or way back into protected areas up against leeward shoreline vegetation/structure. It also makes them harder to spot, of course.
But wind does not have to be the enemy of the fly fisherman. You just have to become a proficient caster...which really isn't that hard. But it's like a golf swing: you can spend years trying to do it yourself and still be pretty shaky, or you can spend a few hours with a good coach and a few minutes a day practicing for a few months and have it down for life.
By the way, good choice in vises! I am a Peak Pro Team fly tier. LOL

That's some pretty pricey hardware! I hope you got the anti-reverse model, at least in the 4G. I think the AR should be standard on all big game saltwater fly reels and any reel you want to take bonefishing if your hands are your livelihood and you make 6-figures, or are the sole source of household income. It's cheaper than really good disability insurance. What do you have those reels mounted on?

The 2.5 G is on a Redington 8wt and the 4g is on a 12 wt? world cup.....Both outfits were purchased used for less that the cost of the 2.5 g reel new!

Ah! There you go! That's the way to do it. Get your money for nothing and your reels for free.
