October 10-13 is going to be the boondoggle at kars park. October is supposed to be an amazing month to fish the lagoon. Waters start cooling and gator trout are easier to find on the flats in potholes. I need a no bs number of people that want to go so we can get a campsite reserved. I cannot go to the hobie nationals this year due to my sons 1st birthday is that weekend. So boondoggle it is. I'd love for there to be a good cgkf turnout to show the space coast and jax guys that we can organize too.

Unfortunately the electric sites are selling like mad. I did get one tent site and even those are going fast. Our site is Number: 319

Sorry Dave, each campsite sits 4 people one vehicle and one tent, I've got 2 in mine for sure with a possible 3rd and 4th.

Update on my Boondoggle status! I work nights at my job and am scheduled to work the Boondoggle weekend. We just heard there will be a maintenance shut down of he plant for 5 weeks, starting 9/22. Our department will work four 10's (Monday through Thursday) during the shut down.
That means I am off for the boondoggle! It's not set in stone yet, but it looks like I am going.

Hotel is booked. Wife and toddlers will be joining me, it will be their first. My dad and stepmom are coming down from NY, and it will be their first Boondoggle as well. I have to drive back Sunday, because of work on Monday. Shall we try and meet up and fish? We will be getting in Friday morning and doing a little fishing before check in.
