Getting some real scarring on my tarpon. What kind of keel/hull protection should I look into?

A set of wheels. Normal scarring from shifting the kayak around, shirt drags, and oysters are a part of owning a plastic kayak. Protect that keel though, you can eventually wear through the plastic and cause a hole. It is repairable though. Many folks use a set of wheels to prevent damaging the keel when moving the kayak around.

Some people have used truck bedliner on the keel with good success.

Thanks for the link! I think I'm going to try the marine-tex poly-dura. I also found something called slick strips that was fairly inexpensive.
