been kinda of busy. was suppose to work on it today. but my bil hasnt shown up yet. i cant use any power tools due to a medical condition that i have in my hands. so he was going to do the cutting of the 3/4 in ply wood and cut some 2x4 for me. i can do the rest of the mods myself. if not done today it will be done tuesday.

well the mods for the kayak trailer have begun. i worked on it till the skeeters drove me inside. i lost the front part of the plat form do to a lag bolt breaking off. i had to hack it out with a hammer and a crowbar. but i did manage to save all the black L brackets. and i had another bolt that just spun around. a rpinta to get that one out. but a good afternoon of tearing it apart. to get it how i want it to be. i should have this done tuesday. got to make a run to home depot and get a 3/4 in sheet of ply wood and some new lag bolt and maybe 2- 2x6 pressure treated boards. as of tonight this is how it looks.one more the the frame will be moved at least 2' forwards to make it more stable and square on the frame.

well this is how it has been since the first night of work. i did have to take the back middle section off. and replace it with new wood. it was uneven and rotten. on one side of it. got all the major wood parts cut at H/D the other night. and now its just putting it back to how i want it.

well its all most done. got all the wood cut and laid down. and everything put to how i wanted it. but i did find one small problem. we found a couple of breaks in the wires. so it looks like i need a new wire harness kit for the trailer. only other thing to do is build my rod box. and its done. besides sealing it with Thompson water seal. all in all, a good days work.
