Would make things somewhat easier if you don't like to peddle. Keep in mind the added weight and maintenance of the battery. It's a bit on the $$ side too, but if you got it flaunt it. I just think peddling is just too easy already.

Peddling and hand free fishing is enough in a Hobie. I bought a bassyak yak kit for my Tarpon 140 ran it 5 times and sold it. It looks great on paper but when your set up time on the landing or you have to drag to some back waters. The extra 70lbs and 20 min set up is a game changer. Plus ...I'm not sure what the water laws are in GA but if a kayak is under power it has to be registered as a motor boat. All the law apply. It something to look into
