Thinking I will be the owner of a new moken 12.5. I like how stable it is as well as versatile. I've paddled one of last years models but the new one is supposed to be better for off shore applications. Anyone know where I can pick one up and save some money in doing so? Looking at picking it up late February so I've got some time to shop. 1099 is the best I've seen so far. Just wish the. 2014 came in the lime green camo. That also means my tarpon 120 will be available for hero's on the water events. Well... Until my wife adopts it. Lol

You may want to check with Blackcreek in Jacksonville. Not sure if they carry them or not.

If you want to shop local bro, I know that Nigel at Savannah Kayak and Canoe carries Feelfrees. He would prob have to order it but he had a couple different Feelfrees in there the last time I was there a few months ago.

Hook1 has a great price on them with free shipping. Plus since they don't do military discounts with shipping I might just drive up there pick it up and get the discount, visit family and use that discount money to add a couple extras to it through fish my yak.

Like Adam said, Savannah Canoe & Kayak mas Moken's. They are located on Bonaventure Rd. Great people. Tell them you are with Coastal Georgia Kayak Fishing. One of our own members guides for them out of a Moken, Fyaman.

I like the Moken as well. It is on the very short list of yaks I am looking at. Probably going to wait until after I get back home from a 2 week work trip in March to pick one up. Hook1 and Austin Kayak do free shipping, but I am going to check out Savannah Canoe and Kayak as well.

I've had mine a couple of months now and have very little to complain about. It's sturdy, it's easy to manage, lots of space, the wheel in the keel will surprise you by how much hassle it saves you. It treks well. The seat is crazy comfortable a little aggravating taking on and off for transport but not too bad. I stumbled across it just browsing for some mods for my other Yak and bought it on the spot and HAVNT looked backed. Can't beat it for the price.

The Lure was very appealing but must warn it's a heavy yak and not the easiest to paddle great distances.

I know this is a little bit of a older thread. But here's my opinion. I did some research about about a year ago and I picked up my feel free moken 12.5 a little over a year ago. I love this yak, it's big, it's wide, I can stand up in it and I'm not a skinny guy nor short. I stand 6'2 and I don't have any issues standing. The seat that comes with it is fantastic. No complaints there. The center hatch holds everything I need. I accidentally rolled it in shallow water on a rough day ( my own fault ) and inside that center hatch I had my wallet keys phone everything. Nothing got wet at all. It's fast too. I can be paddling agasint the tide and stop paddling for a second and I won't drag, I'll still be moving in the direction I am going. I outfit it pretty well in the year I've had it so far. But I will be adding to it this year. Got alot of plans for it. But nothing over the top. Very roomy and spacey love it
