So after reading a few threads about the up coming Boondoggle, although I can't go I wanted to read some more about it. Upon searching google for boondoggle the definition of the word was the first result...

The event started by some DOD and retired military folks that thought it was fitting.

No tournament...just a bunch of yak anglers getting together for three days of fishing fun and comradeship. In the eyes of the wives an expensive and waste of money.

Sorry that you will be missing the Boondoggle maybe the one in October 2014.
