I keep seeing posts about boondoggles. Any background on these events, for the uninitiated? Thanks

It's just a bunch of kayak fishing goofballs meeting up. Camping, BBQ, fishing, drinking.....not in that order . It's a great time! I went to my first in October at Big Lagoon in Florida. I won't be missing another one. The ones in February are usually smaller scale. But it's still a good time. I was trying to organize a camp site, but it's difficult. 8 vehicle max and a 10 person minimum.

There are some reviews on peoples blogs about boondoggles. And there are a few videos on YouTube.
