Ok, so I was given a couple packs of egret baits at the last cgkf meet and greet and to say the least, fish love that fat tail with tons of action. I used them on our trip to mosquito lagoon and they worked amazing. My only concern was how hard the bait is. It doesn't stretch or change shape like the zman baits. I used up about 3 packs of them because the trout kept tearing the tails off and even the medium to large trout would cut them in half on the first hit. I emailed them displaying my concern but how much I liked thier products and they offered to replace my baits. By far the most responsive and caring bait company I have spoken to. If any of you get the chance to use thier products I highly recommend the wedge tails. Great detail and colors with tons of action. Even more action was added when paired up with the giggly wiggly jig heads.

I just ordered 2 packs each of both types of swimbaits, a popping cork, and the v-rig from them.

Thanks for the report on the baits. Egret baits do have some awesome customer service!! The trout absolutely love the plastic baits. I've heard great things about the voodoo shrimp and the kick a mullet.

So I just got a shipment of free egret baits. 4 packs of those awesome wedge tails and 6 vudu shrimp in all 3 colors along with some decals. These vudu shrimp look promising. The tails really have a ton of action. Looking forward to using all of these. I highly recommend these products

I have used the voodoo shrimp quite a bit with great success. Great action and really lifelike appearance. In fact last time we were out, the Reds were taking the voodoo shrimp 4 to 1 over live bait.

I believe I heard somewhere that they were testing/creating a 4" voodoo shrimp. I can't wait to try one of those out!

I just ordered the 4" VooDoo Jumbo. Can't wait to try it. The standard voodoo shrimp is my favorite artificial shrimp.
I will post up a pic and review as soon as I get them

The 4 inch jumbo voodoo shrimp has a ton of action. When they sent me the baits they sent me one. I haven't put it to the test but by far it's got more action than the 3 inch. The 3 inch has worked great. Only downfall is that it has a weak tail which is the reason it has soo much action. Highly recommend this product

I thought that the threaded joints on the Voodoo made to tail tougher?

I'm hoping so, but like any harder plastic bait after a couple short strikes the tail is gone. Guess it's to be expected of any plastic baits. I'm a fan reguardless. If it catches fish consistently I'll stick with buying them over the competitors
