Hey what are you guys wearing out there on these cold mornings and poor weather? I'm on the market for something to keep me warm and dry and looking for suggestions. The market is so flooded I don't even know where to start.

I'm with you on that one man. I turn into a little girl when I get cold lol. I was thinking bibs with a matching jacket though. Waterproof top and bottom. I don't really drip on my upper half when paddling though so may be unnecessary. I have some nice wool socks I'm thinking of putting under some rubber duckies for the feet. Been looking at the Frogg Toggs but their website sucks and I can't really tell if they are going to be thick enough to single layer some pants or what. Going to Basspro tonight though so we'll see what's available up there.

I wear Kokatat paddling pants with sweat pants underneath and wool socks. I layer on the top so I can shed when the sun heats things up.

I like to dress light. My feet and head are the two things I worry about. I'll wear some gortex pants with thermals at the most. Sweater that zips up and a t shirt underneath. I am from Washington though, so the cold doesn't really bother me. I try to dress light just in case that situation arises and your in the water. Your not being loaded down when trying to get back into the yak

i wear rubber or neoprene hunting boots and insulated wicking socks. clothing depends on temps but i found that a pvc type rain suit for $30 at walmart is king over clothing. keeping the wind and water off is the key. you can dress much lighter this way with full mobility
