I am going to meet with Coffee Bluff Marina soon and work out a schedule for 2014 in which I will conduct basic kayak fishing seminars and some mothership seminars. What would some of you be interested in seeing? In the past we have done mothership seminars for: topwater trout, reds in the grass, reds on the flat, and beachside reds (that one was cancelled due to weather). We may also offer a sheepshead kayak fishing seminar. What do you all think folks would be interested in?  The typical mothership seminar cost is approx. $100 per person. The basic seminar or sheepshead would be approx. $45 per person. |

Coffee Bluff Marina and I are currently working out the dates and types of seminars. These seminars will be full of information, fun, and worth attending. The mothership seminars are always fun and exciting.
Keep in mind that all these seminars are instructional and educational, actually catching fish is a side benefit (when they cooperate). We are choosing the best tides and areas for the seminars. Weather will also play a part in the seminars. If weather is not good, we will cancel and may reschedule depending on the number of participants. Attendees will be notified promptly when a decision is made.
The new facilities at Coffee Bluff Marina will be top notch! They are scheduled to have their Grand Opening in mid May.

Talked to Ray from Coffee Bluff Marina this am and the Marina will more than likely be open for business in July. We are shooting for having our first kayak fishing seminar Aug 9th and it will be a Kayak Fishing 101 seminar. There will be more info to follow.
