This event will be in our backyard. From the Boondoggle Facebook page: "The date and location of the next #boondoggle was posted in the event agenda. For those who couldn't attend last weekend, it will be in St Mary's, GA at Crooked River State Park over President's Day: Feb 14 to 17, 2014. Contact the Park to reserve your site now!" Had a friend try and call the State park and they didn't have any idea what a Boondoggle was. Guess there are a couple details left to work out. Should be a fun event with plenty of camaraderie and camping. The fishing may be slow, we will see. Hope a bunch of CGKF folks get to go.  |

Would be nice If all the cgkf guys got together and we reserved a bunch of spots all next to each other. I'd be available to go. I have extra tents and a heater since ill have my wife and little guy with me. Who else wants to go? A bunch of sites side by side would be pretty cool

The concept of the February Boondoggle is going back to the basics and not being that organized. The past one at Big Lagoon took a lot of work so this Boondoggle is not going to lock up a state park. Everyone is on their own for camping. I'm sure that the dinner on Saturday might go back to some form of a low county boil. The last I heard the cabins are full and that there are 41 campsites remaining.

Otherwise I will try to post items that I know about th upcoming Boondoggle.

I am going and trying to work out a camping site. There are 3 pioneer sites and only one is left. They are $35 a night split amongst the group. We could do a CGKF site. How many guys are going?

We need a minimum of 10 people to book the last pioneer site. I am going, scubasteve is going. My buddy from Jax is a maybe. Do we have 8 more folks going?

Problem is the pioneer sites only allow 8 cars. Unless a bunch can carpool, I can't book the site. Plus it doesn't look like there is anyone else really going. I expected a bigger response from the locals. No one is going?

I may come down for one night but my parents will be down from Washington state. I've been looking forward to it for a while now though
