Is anyone from around here going? It would be good if we could car pool down there. If your going and want to car pool let's get out travel plans figured out. Will cut cost down a good bit.

i really would like to go to it. and even fish the ifa redfish tour here in savannah. the idea of a group of us together would be fun

Not sure if ill attend the Boondoggle, the IFA Championship is the next week in Louisiana. I have to choose one or the other.

Same here, but right now my plans are for the Boondoggle. That just all depends if i can sneak in a trip to The Gulf between now and then.

Troutman, if you want to go I have a site already reserved so don't get a site. I think as of this morning they were down to 12 open sites anyway. Snafu, would you or could you carpool three or is that too much? I have a light little trailer for my PA.

I have been trying to figure out how to get there and what to drive. The plan was to car top both my yaks, on my Scion. You will see that set up tomorrow haha. If I car pooled with someone I would take the suburban, and I could pull your trailer. Which solves the yak problem, because I can load my yaks on the trailer. But that leaves my wife home with the little car, and 2 babies in car seats. We can talk the logistics of it all tomorrow.

I can get you there. If you don't have a site yet, you could throw a tent on mine. I am from real close by, so, I will be stopping in and seeing some family. My father-in-law has a yak and I will be picking him up while back home. Hit me on the I M if you want and we can work out the details. For anyone else I could fit two more. I have a crew cab GMC Canyon with a bed extender.

I still plan on car topping both yaks on the car. I think I need to roll solo this trip. Leaving the wife home alone with 2 babies, I will need to be able to leave if something comes up. I would like to convoy though.

Looks like I will be car pooling with my buddy in Jacksonville. He is staying on my campsite and using my second yak. We could still convoy down I-10. When we get closer to the date we can work out a meeting point.
