well it s finally summer time again. and that means high temperatures and high humidity for our area. please drink plenty of fluids to avoid heat stroke. and use your sun protection. i would hate to see some one with yak burn. also with it being summer time. it brings everyone out on the water. were your PFD. i hope everyone has a great summer doing some kayak fishing, that is all back to regular schedule programing.

I went out today for 6 hours and drank 6 bottles of water. I was sweating like a whore in church out there.

Water is distributed by the pallet over here! Man it's been 100+ over here in the sand box for the last few weeks. The temperature gauge doesn't look much different than it does in Savannah but man it sure feels alot hotter! And it seems to be alot brighter outside with everything reflecting the sun light. A few months ago I got me a pair of Oakley Half Jackets 2.0's with the transition lenses with an additional pair of black iridium polarized lenses. I'm trying to save the polarized lenses for fishing when I get home but I don't know if I can hold out, lol. These transition lenses are cool but don't get very dark.

I have been to Iraq a few times and I spent a couple years in doha, Qatar. It does get hot but its a dry hot in Iraq. In Doha it gets to the 120's AND humidity in the 80/90% range. Its suffocating.

I have nothing to compare with what you guys have endured, so all I can add to this conversation is a great big THANK YOU!!!!!! for what you do and have done. Your sacrifice is appreciated more than you will ever know. Be safe and get on back home for some fishing. I hope that I get the chance to make a meet and greet and even get to go fishing with you. God bless you!!!! Redbeard

Thanks for the support Redbeard! I'll definitely be looking for some water when I get home and will be needing someone to show me the ropes of yak fishing so I'ma hold you to that!
