Just got done with building my own kayak kart out of pvc which i would recommend every1 do instead of buying those $100 fancy ones. I spent a total of $20 for all the pvc (20 ft double wall pvc) minus the wheels and shaft. I was at harbor frieght the other day and they sell wheels for $5 a pop and you can go find a rod to fit them for a max of about $10 probably way cheaper, im not sure. so all in all ill have spent a total of about $40 and it only took about 10 mins out of my day to make, build your own and save $$$

JerseyJoe built a really nice cart for his PA14 in similar fashion (PVC and wheels from Harbor Freight). He made one for me to for the Ride135 and it is fantastic. Our cost was similar (but a bit lower) than your calculation.

yeah thats awesome the pvc pipe plus the end caps and t connectors came out to like 17, i had to buy the 20ft pvc pipe which really drove the cost up becuase they didnt have anything shorter in length

Here is a pick of mine. I went with schedule-80 PVC to be stronger considering the weight of the PA. I went with a thru-scupper hole mount which works well. My cost of materials was a bit higher, but I had enough to build 2 (actually might have enough to build 1 more). I love it, makes moving my PA around a breeze!
