well if most of you after a few hours on the water like me. you get the numb butt feeling and and stiff lower back. well i began to search for a better seat with better back support and more cushion for the tushie. and some way to carry most of my flies, crankbaits and soft plastics all in one place. that's when i ran across gone fishing kayak seat. so far with the dry land test this seem to be the ticket and i have all my fresh water arsenal in one place. the good thing about that is it is detectable and can be brought inside. this seat also had a place for some tools and 2 rod holders in back.

Now you have to actually get your Kayak wet to see if your butt stays dry!

Looks like a nice seat back, the bottom pad doesn't look too cushiony. Let us know how it works out.

well i did the test run today at mohawk. i would like to give the seat a 10. but like you stated trey.it needs some more padding in the cushion. all other parts of the seat worked great!! especially the lumbar section. i was not stiff one bit after i got off the water this afternoon. and the storage pack for the plano containers worked great to. did get rid of the sunk for freshwater fishing caught 2 nice bream and one nice catfish. i did hook into something big tho. and it took off for deep water never did see what was but it was fun trying to reel in in on a ultra light outfit.

Great to hear Rob. Now that you flip that skunk overboard you need to keep up the good fishing.

My seat has the same problem, Rob. I use a seat cushion, on top of my yak seat, that I originally bought at Walmart to use in my pickup truck seat. It is waffled stiff foam rubber encased in a black nylon fabric. Works great!!! If it gets wet, I just hang it on my yak to dry when I put it back in my rack. I like the lumbar support in your seat, you don't see that in many seats. I especially like the high back that gives you extra support. Keep up the catching!!! Redbeard
