The City of Savannah has invited CGKF to be a part of Earth Day April 20th (Saturday) at Forsyth Park in Savannah by giving an hour worksop/ seminar on kayak fishing. This workshop will consist of kayak fishing's low impact effects on the environment, the enjoyment, and conservation. Most of us just think kayak fishing is fun, but it does have a great impact on the conservation of our natural resources. Contact me if you'd be interested in assisting, speaking, or just being there to represent and support CGKF. I'll have more details at a later date.  |

Unfotunately I have to work that weekend. We are prepping and gearing up for upcomming inventory.... If anything changes....I will love to show up and help out!

I would like to help. I don't think I could offer much help by way of information or speaking on the enviornment. I would be more help with carrying stuff, setting things up. Like a Roady. haha

The workshop is setup for April 20th from 1:30-2:30pm in Forsyth Park. I will know where at Forsyth and what I can set up as we get closer to the date. Let's show Savannah what we do and why. |

We will have spot from 11-4 and will give a kayak fishing seminar in the workshop area from 1:30-2:30.

Nubby and I had a great day today at the Earth Day Festival. Snafu stopped by with his lovely bride and beautiful babies. Jersey Joe swung by and ended up staying a while talking to folks about CGKF and kayak fishing, we even had him give a portion of the workshop on kayak fishing. Thanks Joe!
There was a lot of interest and we will probably keep this event on the annual CGKF calendar.
Thank you City of Savannah for having us.
Saw a bunch of folks that I haven't seen in a while.
