I know you aren't suppose to post ads and links to other stores so I cleared this with the powers that be........ These guys are a huge outdoor store in upstate NY. When I was looking for a bigger yak years ago I checked their site out. They sell some sit on top kayaks. And because its so cold up there, they don't sell very well. You have to check back from time to time, to see if they have any sales. You can always give them a call, they are great to talk to. I bought my OK Prowler 15 back in 2008 (it was a left over from the year before) for $385. For an extra $50 they delivered it to an exit off I-95. They may not have the inventory some other shops down here have, because they don't do much with the sit on tops. But they have great prices, the cheapest I have ever found. www.mountainmanoutdoors.com/pages/sit-on-top-kayaks

Like I said they are cheaper than anyone I have ever dealt with. They also sell used yaks. They are yaks only used during paddlesfest and "test drives". The free delivery may not be directly to your house. They may bring it to an exit off I-95, but hey that's pretty damn good if you ask me. Delivered by the people personally.

Snafu ( my son) is right. I refer to this as the land of the clueless. People up here buy sit ins and have no clue about sit on tops. I just drove up to Mountain Man today. They are in the Adirondacks, and yes it was snowing off and on.We bought a new leftover 2012 Ocean Kayak Malibu Two , boat only, for $419. Pretty cheap. Going to bring it south in a couple of weeks and try it out in Mosquito Lagoon. I wish kayak fishing were a bigger deal up here but in a few years we'll be down south for good. The up side is there can be good deals because there's not much demand up here for the sit on tops.

We fished Mosquito Lagoon yesterday and while we were launching we met a fellow from Colorado launching a nice Native Watercraft. When we told him we were from upstate NY he mentioned if we new about Mountain Man. I guess they are widely known.
