I looked at the "comfy" seats and then looked at more affordable Ocean Kayak seats. The most important thing for me was back support. I use the Ocean Kayak Comfort Tech seat, sells for around $59.00. Great back support. I also have a cushion that I put in it to sit on to keep from getting a case of sore butt. Works well for me, but everybody has to pick what works for them. Redbeard

Wish I could help, I've never used anything other than OEM seats on the yaks I've fished. The Jackson Kayak yaks I fish now come with an awesome seat. Nubby has a nice after market seat, not sure which one it is, but he likes it.

I have one of the GTS seats and love it. I have never regretted my purchase.

thanks Nubby.... now i have to figure out how to squander another $200 from the wife! lol seriously though im thinking about a decent seat with skwoosh pad. lots of good reviews of long term sitting. another thought ive been toying with is the Manta ray seat...DVC...that native makes. seen them for about $120
