Any help on selecting a cart? Not a lot of choices solely for kayak, but should I go with a scupper hole cart or strap on version? I realized a cart would reduce my trips back and forth with yak, crate, and other items to launch and return. Plus save my back. Thank you!

We used a scupper hole cart until it broke a scupper in my wife's kayak. Never again.
We made a cart from PVC which straps to the bottom of the boat. It has been used with everything from a Prowler 13 to a Big Game and a Malibu 2 with no problems. It knocks down to small assemblies when packing for a camping trip.
A couple of yakers asked if we sold them, but I gave them the dimensions to make their own and they sketched the design. Be happy to do the same for you. Simple, cheap, and sturdy.

Thanks Frank. I was able to build the cart, but have to put in a kickstand and it will be set. Also, thanks 3spots for the great seminar and opinion on carts. I am going to add an anchor trolley and anchor to my yak.

Happy to hear you made it. We don't use the kickstand, as it sometimes is in the way. We did not glue it to the tee so it is removable.
You will enjoy an anchor trolley also. We actually tie our anchors or drift chutes to ours.
Let me add my congratulations to 3spots for a very nice presentation. You covered some good subjects and did it well. Hope you got out with your daughter and that she did not outfish you too bad. Nothing like one on one time with your daughter.
