Went over to Trey's Last night to help rig a Hobie Pro Angler. This is one sweet ride. First Trey and David attempting to install the transducer. Looking at the bottom with transducer mounted With the Hobie on the Trailer with bottom side up. The transducer fit in the curvature of the hull. Looking at the top of transducer. sorry about the quality of this picture. The Recorder was mounded with a Scotty Flush mount Then we install the Hobie anchor trolley. All looked and worked great. Loved punching holes in a Pro Angler.

Looks Good, not too much rigging you have to do to a Pro Angler......

You are correct in saying that you don't have to do too much rigging, but some like to equip their kayaks with many items for their personal preference, comfort, and type of fishing they do.
Many items include: anchor trolleys rod holders GPS/ Fish Finder electronics camera mounts gear/ tackle/ lure storage safety light/ flag different seat option paddle holders retracting devices extra bungee to secure various items bait storage kayak lighting gear tracs Mighty mounts/ Scotty mounts tool/ plier storage boards etc, etc, etc.

<~~~~~ will keep comments to himself from now own Nothing wrong with your post, just letting others know that a PA can be rigged with many various aftermarket items for their personal preference. They can rig it light or rig it heavy, just showing that there is an option.

What kind of lighting are you using in your PA Trey? I have often had the need for some especially when me and Chris fished topwater at 4am on a full moon and I bumped a monster shark. I could have use it to check my shorts! Are you using LEDs and are they rigged to the inside of your hull or are you using it primarily for safety?

How is the transducer working out mounted there? Are there any issues during launch and do you get good readings? I have considered one for my PA. Other than a trolley I haven't mounted much to mine permanently.

Trinidad, the PA is copshark's. All we put on it is the anchor trolley and ff. we used the scupper transducer mount, but will probably change it since he wants to be able to use his hobie bait tank. Monday we are going to mount the transducer to a bar that runs down the outside of the kayak. The only lights I use at night right now are a headlamp and YakAttack visicarbon pro. The led lights inside the PA would be cool.

Ended up changing some things on Copshark's PA. We altered the anchor trolley to give it greater adjustment range by moving the clasp to the mid-point of the bungee. We also did away with the scupper mounted transducer and made it an external mounted tranducer on a sway/ pivot bar. The wires were run along and into the rod tube mounts for a clean/ functional finish. I think he is happy with the results. Check out Fish My Yak's FB page for pics (if you haven't liked the Fish My Yak page, go ahead: www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Fish-My-Yak/223443434384078

I have looked at the pictures and I see a bolt and washer with a nut attached at the end of the bolt. I guess that you are telling me that the bolt and nut is not tighten down tightly but snugly.
