The next seminar in line for CGKF/ Coffee Bluff Marina is May 19th from 6am-11am. This is a mothership seminar that will be instructed by Hobie Kayak Pro Rory Gregg (from Jacksonville, FL.).
Rory is an accomplished fisherman and kayak fisherman, competes in the IFA Kayak Tour and other various tournaments, and writes articles for Kayak Angler/ Void/ and GAFF magazines. Rory is also a Pro Staffer for Bomber Saltwater Grade lures and Waterman's Applied Science.
Rory will cover the specifics of working topwater lures in search of speckled trout. He will discuss different topwater lures, techniques, rod & reel setups, targeting, and hooksets.

On Saturday, May 19th, 2012, from 6:00 am until 11:00 am, Coastal Georgia Kayak Fishing will be on hand at Coffee Bluff Marina for a kayak fishing seminar - Topwater Blowups Advanced Seminar. This is a mothership seminar, where you, your kayaks, and your instructor will be carried by powerboat to a remote location and dropped off in trout country. The instructional mothership seminar consists of lure selection, how to work the lure properly, lure presentation, tackle recommendations, and target recognition. The cost for the seminar is $100 per angler. Bring your own kayak, or if you don’t have a kayak, Coffee Bluff Marina will rent one to you at 50% off normal rates…which is $15 for the seminar.
