Great Meet N Greet!! Thanks to all who showed, the rest who couldn't make it missed out.
Congrats to the raffle winners. Good move for Kevin to give most of his raffle prize to Dillon.

Great seeing all that were there. I enjoyed seeing some new faces and sorry for those that could. not make. Congratulation to those that won the raffles. Kevin you put a great old big smile on Dillon's face when you gave him most of the raffle prize. Thank you.

Enjoyed it! Nice being around people that like to fish and enjoy the outdoors.

I'll be somewhat nice and do a re-cap of the Meet N' Greet so others can read about what they missed. * We had kayak fishing photos being displayed on a large screen throughout the event. * We had around 25 folks there and everyone introduced themselves. * The room was really nice (a bit on the cold side), but real nice. Thanks Tubby's! * We displayed a nice piles of raffle prizes in which Marshrat and Troutman won. * The HOW team (Jim, Corky, & Stephen) talked about our new HOW Chapter and future events. * I (Fish My Yak) gave a short seminar on YakAttack products (namely the Gear Tracs, Screwball, Mighty Mount, Visi Carbon Pro, Ram rod holder, Panfish, and Panfish portrait). * CGKF presented Dillon Linton a savings bond. This is the savings bond we've been saving up for for the past 1 1/2 years to give to the son of a kayak fisherman that passed away 2 years ago. * Corky and I spoke about Spot Tail's Tackle & Marine and their support of CGKF and kayak fishing. Attendees: 3spots, Nubby +1, Savreds +1, Troutman +1, Grin, Marshrat +1, Laughinggull +3, USCkayak, Bwanajim +1, Gairishyaker, Backlash4000 +1, Uglystickyooper +1, Dillon (Funkymonkey or whatever his nickname will be) +1. I may have missed someone, please correct me if I did. It was great to see all that attanded and we had fun socializing and eating. If anyone has any good ideas for the next Meet N Greet let me or other admins know.  |
