The time is getting shorter and shorter!!! This is the event that I wait on each year almost as much as looking forward to Santa Claus!!! Just hope I will get to be there this year. I just found out in the last couple of days that I may have to be on one of our TN jobs at that time and was reminded that business comes first!!! Hopefully, it will work out. It always seems like getting to go is a drama for me, but so far I have always made it!!! I have a couple of friends that are signed on to the site that are about to pay their registration and will be a part of our group there. Won't mention any names until they sign on, but looks promising.
From the sound of things, CGKF is going to be well represented this year!!! Deserves a little recognition from Mike at the Captain's meeting!!! I would like to get a head count to see just who is planning on making the trip. Also see if everyone is interested in staying at the location that Osprey and I stayed last year, great accommodations, reasonably priced and close enough to the events. They have a pretty good deal for pre-paying, and if enough people are interested, I may try to negotiate some group pricing to help out.
Anyone interested in going that has not gotten a CGKF hat and shirt needs to contact Nubby and place your order in time for the event, gotta wear our colors!!!
We need to haul home some of the first place prize kayaks this year!!! We also need to be checking out our sources to see where to fish and getting a plan together. Looking forward to it!!!
