Its about that time of year, where I start trying to plan out all the tournies in which I am going to try to fish. My plans as of right now(Work Permitting) is to fish the Jax Classic......How many of you are going to try to help represent CGKF this year?

I want to try it this year, but won't really know if it'll work out for at least a couple of more months. I'm not going to hold my breath though!

Unless the sky falls, I'll be there. Can't wait, we had a good time last year! CGKF did very well last year, between placing in divisions and raffle prizes, we were the shizzle.

I am planning on being there. I really enjoyed seeing others and the cause is well worth the entry fee.

Just got through checking the entry list for the Jax Classic. It is hard to tell looking at real names, but it doesn't look like we have a large signup from our group. At one time, I thought we were going to have a flotilla!!! Post up if you have signed up or are going to, so we can see how many are going to be there to represent CGKF. I am going to be there if Airtran doesn't quit flying that week!!!, but that is another story in itself!!! Any of our new members that have not heard about the Jax Classic, post up and we will fill your ears! If you are thinking about it, don't miss it, it is about the most fun you will have in one weekend kayak fishing, and you will make new friends that you will look forward to seeing year after year, not counting experiencing some really great fishing. Sure would like to get a chance to meet up with and fish with some of our new members while down there. Also, it would be pretty cool to have two or three tables of CGKF folks there and get recognized! Let's hear from you if you are going are thinking about it. Redbeard

For those attending: The ramp at Oak Harbor is closed indefinitely, they are doing repairs in the future. There was some issue about the bottom of the ramp and boat trailers were getting stuck. They have barricades up. Reportedly, kayakers can still launch there at there own risk. Carrying your yak over the barricades will have to be performed to access the ramp. Be careful and safe out there. We (CGKF) will get a table together at the Captn's meeting and check-in. Have a safe trip down.
