CGKF will be having a raffle at the Meet N' Eat, below is what is up for grabs: Door prize: a Scotty's PowerLock rod holder Np. 230 with base, courtesy of Fish My Yak (a raffle ticket will be given to each participant attendee, no raffle fee). General Raffle: each raffle ticket will be $5. The cost will re-coop the cost of the product and the remainder of the raffle money will go into the CGKF general fund for CGKF activities. Every little bit helps. 1st raffle prize is a Precision Pak Cratemate (crate not included) $40 value. 2nd raffle prize will be a Coastal Georgia Kayak Fishing embroidered logo t-shirt courtesy of Stitched Designs

Looks like we'll have a motley crew on Saturday! If you haven't decided to join us, I can assure you that you'll miss some good information and fun if you don't show. Hope to see a bunch of you there! ;D Good chance to meet some of the CGKF members, ask questions, and tell fishing lies (I have a bunch of them). FYI.....if you need to make a purchase from Fish My Yak, you can order between now and Saturday (9am) and pick up your order at the meeting.

You forgot what I look like! ;D Tomorrow is going to be one of those days... I have to get Josh down to Wright Army Airfield at Ft. Stewart at 9:00 for "O" flights with the Civil Air Patrol, he's supposed to fly twice. Cameron has basketball at 11:30, then on to Tubby's and then get Josh sometime around 4-5:00. No wonder I'm allways tired and don't have any time to fish!

Wow....what a great time! When I wanted to do this Meet N' Eat I had no idea it would turn out so good. Tubby's set up a nice room and having the xmas lights was really nice. The speakers, Mike (CCA GA) and Donnie (Burnside Boppers), were very informative! The raffle turned out great! Having a raffle was a last minute thing, but added to the experience. Thank you to all that showed up (spouses and kids included). It's nice to meet CGKF members and their families! Hope to have another meeting like that one during the summer and I hope for more members to show and get to socialize.

Thanks to the administrators for setting up the speakers, the prizes and other gear available. I agree, Tubbys hooked us up with that room, definitely a great spot for functions. It was good putting faces with names and I look forward to seeing you guys on the water.

I agree; Thanks to Tubby's and thank you Trey for setting up a great event! I tested my new Burnside Bopper on an improptu trip to the Ogeechee last night...wish I had actually caught a fish under it, but it is a great product...and nice to hear MADE IN THE USA! Loved the CCA info, and enjoyed getting together with everyone.
