Didn't have anything to post for the tournament, but did get to fish a little Saturday and caught a fiesty 18"red that took the skunk off my morning. The winds that we've been having lately are discouraging when planning a trip. Just remember to be safe and err on the side of caution. Fish do eat and can be caught when the wind blows.

Went out Friday evening for a few hours. Pushed up into the grass reached down to rig my rod only to spot two nice reds in a shallow pool six feet from the yak. Serves me right for not being rigged and ready. Sometimes you only get one shot...spooked four more in the thicker grass but they were deep. No tails they were just cruising. Fresh out of buzz baits

I spooked a few myself when hung on oysters and pulled my yak over to get unhooked. Only saw one with any size.
