Anyone got an opinion on which is a better place for some October redfish? Looking for a good launch, safe fishing and possibly some live bait?

St. Simons is better. If you want to paddle around and search for shrimp I'd try the mouths of feeder creeks or along some mud flats when the water is below the grass line. But you can buy a quart of shrimp on st simons for $17.
