Hello everyone! I've just joined your forum and thought I'd say a little about myself. I'm coming up on 65 years old and feel I still have the energy for kayaking. I've been saltwater kayaking since I bought my first kayak in January. I've been car fully learning the ins and outs of tides and the constant changes that go with them. I've refused to go into small creeks beyond a certain point where i feel confident that i can get out again before tides go away. I'm learning how far I can get on outgoing tides before turning around for the ride home. One of the more important lessons has been that incoming tides won't always get you home if the wind gets up in the wrong direction. I'm also learning to fish saltwater as I go but I haven't been to lucky yet. I've caught a ton of small sharks but not much else. So I'm hoping for enlightenment from some of you and perhaps to find some new fishing/kayaking friends.

Summer fishing around savannah is really tough unless you're targeting stingrays and sharks. There is a ton of information that you can search on this forum. We also have kayak fishing seminars where I divulge more information than I would on here.

I learn tons about and how to on YouTube. Addictive fishing on YouTube has great videos one including Brunswick for reds in the grass. But I do recommend the seminars that 3spots holds. Jump on a couple of them and you are sure to walk away with more knowledge and techniques. Plus you get a day on the water with some really good people.
