CGKF Leadership is in the process of planning next years 1st annual Local Tournament for charity. We are leaning towards proceeds going towards the Local chapter of The breast cancer awareness foundation. We are planning on having a tourney next October with multi divisions, kids, ladies, and men's. We are trying to feel out the site tonhelp us with planning. This Tournament will be helping a wonderful cause as well bringing a great group of guys together.

As Troutman satated, we would like to begin giving back to our community through fun fishing events such as this. There is a lot of planning and organizing ahead, that's why we are starting now and would like to solicit you for any expertise, contacts, influence, etc. to get the tournament set for a fun filled event for all. If you'd like to fish the event and help out along the way, just vote to fish it and email coastalgeorgiakayakfishing@gmail.com to let us know what you can do or that you'd like to be plugged in somehow. More information will be put out before long. Feel free to ask questions, we have all the basics of the tournament thought out as far as rules and format. Thanks  |

Sounds like a great idea, if the dates are announced enough ahead of time count me in! I haven't been to Savannah in two years!
Let me know how the planning goes, LAKE was planning a tourney this year but it just did not materialize. I may bring the idea back up for next year as we could donate to our local chapter as well. Planning well ahead of time seems to be key with pulling off a successful tourney!
Would be awesome to see some nice donations handed over to a worthy cause!
